Additional Software
Mr. Voice requires a couple of additional pieces to run. You can download those via the links below.
- Linux/Unix
- Audio Player - XMMS (available in most distributions)
- Windows
- Audio Player - WinAmp 5
- WinAmp HTTPQ plugin (optional, but needed for song fadeouts)
- WinAmp Ogg Vorbis plugin (optional, but needed to play .ogg files)
- WinAmp AAC plugin (optional, but needed to play .aac and .m4a files)
- MacOS X
- Audio Player - Audion 3 (formerly a commercial product, it's now freeware)
- X11 for OSX. Mr. Voice currently runs under Apple's X11 layer, so you will need to have X11.app installed. It can be found on your installation CDs (not installed by default), or at this link. Removing this dependency is a high priority for us.
